Study Objectives: To compare tobacco abstinence rates in the preoperative period for cancer patients who smoke and receive a Contingency Management (CM) intervention (monetary payment contingent on abstinent breath CO + counseling + NRT) versus a Standard Care (SC) intervention (breath CO monitoring with no payment for abstinence + counseling + NRT).
